Now TaskSwitchXP always seems to me to be one of those cool, but unnecessary programs. When I first saw it, I expected it to be like most other programs I download: I would start using it, and then get bored of it after about a week. But for some reason I’ve still been using this program since October. There is one feature in the program that keeps me coming back. It is not enabled by default either. It allows me to minimize a program to the system tray.

Once I enable it, all I have to do it right-click the minimize button, and it is instantly in my tray. Whenever my task bar is getting a little cluttered, I just send my gmail FireFox window and other programs that I’m not really using to the tray and forget about them.
