Google Maps Street View of Minneapolis Area

Google now has Street View for Minneapolis. It was taken last July and August.

Here is the street view around Dinkytown:

Pass Right

If you are asked to pass a dish, you should pass to your right. It is acceptable to pass to the person directly to your left if they ask you to. Do not serve yourself first. When another diner asks for an item to be passed only the person nearest the desired item should reach for it. Remember, salt and pepper are always passed together, even if only one was requested. If you need an item from the table that is not closest to you, ask for another diner to pass it to you rather than reaching across the table.

An introduction to dining etiquette

Week 9

Monday was normal.
Tuesday we studied at Rapson 13.

Then we moved to Rapson 15. Rapson 15 had a sweet projector setup.

Wednesday night we had chicken and bacon.

We had a section meeting in the pumpkin room on halloween.

Thursday night chores.

Afterwards we had some sweet apple pie that Joe made. Everyone said it was the best apple pie that Joe has made. The filling did not fill the pan when it was sliced.

Friday pizza for dinner.

Saturday night we played “switch” and telephone charades. We had an extra hour so we all stayed up later.
Sunday I went to church 2 hours early because of the extra hour. The second to last CM in our building was at 3.

We got some pictures with the pole.

After the CM we went to Annies.

Week 8

Monday we had enchiladas.

Tuesday was normal.
Wednesday was another section meeting.

Thursday night we did chores.
Friday we watched Reign Over Me in Rapson 13.
Saturday I cooked LD and listened to Muse.

We made mountain man stew.

After dinner, we played ultimate frisbee on the mall.
Sunday we had a sweet brunch, then I worked on my 3081 project most of the rest of the day.

Week 7

Monday was Kevin’s birthday. We went to Town Hall.
Tuesday we had our first section dinner together. I’m in Management Informaion (MIS).
Wednesday night we had our first real section meeting.
Thursday a new version of ubuntu came out. It did not work very well on my computer, but I think that is because my cdrom is broken.
Friday night we went to the Pozarski’s for dinner. We played some ice breakers, 4 on a couch, and sang songs and all was fun.
Saturday night we went the huge U of M music performance where pretty much every group performed. Rachel played violin and Kristen sang.

Sunday we had a CM.

Week 6

Once again, old news.
Monday we slept in to catch up from the weekend.
Tuesday we had an all-division dinner.

Actually, most of the week was catchup.
Friday night some when to help Action roof a house, others went to roof a different house, still others like me went to Chipotle.
Saturday was more roofing, and chores.
Sunday we studied at Walter Library for a while.

Then we went to Kevin’s house to celebrate his birthday.
